BREED MATTERS
It all starts with our breed. Having gone to such lengths to rescue bronze breeds from near extinction, our carefully researched breeding programme has led to our trademark KellyBronze - there really is a difference.
EXPERIENCE MATTERS
We have been farming our slow growing turkeys with care and passion for three generations. We follow natures clock. Our hens lay their eggs in spring and the chicks hatch during natural season.
WELFARE MATTERS
Our birds live as nature intended. They're fed on a natural diet and roam free in the woodlands or pastures - foraging for grubs, berries and nettles - their favourite treat.

AGE MATTERS
Our birds are grown to full maturity. By allowing them to grow to the equivalent of adult age, they develop a layer of natural fat, and mature carcass and bone - all essential ingredients for award-winning flavour and natural gravy stock.
QUALITY MATTERS
Our birds are hand plucked on our farm when they are mature and ready to eat - and not when they reach a particular weight. Little black feather quills can be seen in the skin - a detail that has become a defining KellyBronze hallmark.
(This designer stubble almost led the original bronze turkey breeds to extinction in the 1950's, which were replaced by new white breeds at the expense of eating qualities and flavour.)
TIME MATTERS
Because we hand-pluck our birds - we can take the extra time to hang our turkeys, allowing us to age our birds the traditional way, intensifying the flavours and tenderising the meat - both labour intensive and time consuming methods that give award-winning results.
FLAVOUR MATTERS
KellyBronze slow growing, free range mature turkeys are a joy to cook. They offer more flavour, have superior meat texture, juicier self-basted meat and the promise of richly flavoured natural gravy stock.
